Develop a Good Charging HabitUpdated 2 months ago
Your actual charging habit will be determined by how you use the SwiftPaws Lure Course.
It is not recommended to leave the battery sitting fully charged for longer than 3 days. Nor should it sit drained to it's minimum voltage longer than that. So ...
- If you use the course daily; every other day; or even every three days:
- It's fine to charge the battery after (or the day of) use in preparation for the next use.
- If you use the course once a week, or every four or more days:
- If the battery was discharged to its minimum: Charge the battery to storage voltage and then to full a day or two before (or day of) use.
- If you did not drain the battery to the minimum - it may not need to be charged at all until the day before use 👍
Your actual usage may vary - so adjust your charging habit accordingly. The idea being not to leave the battery sitting either fully charged, or discharged to its minimum charge, as doing so may permanently damage the battery.
