Compostable flags

Our compostable flags are safe for your pet and the environment!

Two - 15 count rolls They are made from maize (corn) flour which is not toxic. They are printed using food grade coloring, but this does not necessarily mean they're edible. Accidental ingestion of bits of the flag should not harm the pup. If there is any question about ingestion of non-food items please check with your veterinarian.

A big part of the fun for your pup is catching the lure! Some dogs love to "kill" the flag - or even uproot the entire course. This is their way of celebrating their victory - a job well done! So praise them lavishly - and incorporate setting up the course and refreshing the flag for each session if that's what makes them happy!

Most pups quickly learn that the best reward for releasing the flag the continuation of play! This may take a little help from you. They don't aways know what you expect from them so go ahead and reward then when they do what you want. Use whatever "currency" works best for your individual pup: another toy, treat, a game of tug with a toy designed for this activity, enthusiastic praise - paired with teaching a good reliable "leave it" - basically how you would teach them any other thing you want them to learn. 👍
