The charger has lights - how can I tell what the voltage is?

Guessing what the voltage is will be hard. The charger will show all three green lights when the battery reaches a full charge. However, it is possible for the maximum capacity to drop too low to power the drive. Which means you will see all three green lights, but still not be able to run the drive. So you might consider getting the charger sold on our website which has a voltage readout.

CAUTION: The battery should always be allowed to come to room-temperature before charging. Charging a hot or cold battery might delay charging or damage the battery. For best results, charge the battery at temperatures between 50º and 80ºF (10º-30ºC).
