How to Pair Chase Remote - video

Video

Start by freshly plugging in the Chase device. When you first plug it in, the blue light on the bottom of the device will blink once per second. This indicates that it has power but is NOT paired.

The blue light will blink once every three (3) seconds when it is paired to an app or remote.

The device can only pair with one thing at a time - if it will not pair to the remote - verify that all SwiftPaws apps are completely closed on all phones.

The same is true you are trying to pair the device to the app - if it is already paired with another app or the remote, it will not override the pairing - you have to close or turn of the other device before it will pair to a new one.

NOTE: If the device has been plugged in and sitting idle for 20 minutes or longer, it will go into low power mode. In this case, press the pairing button on the side of the device until the blue light begins to blink.

TROUBLESHOOT:

  • If the LED on the remote continues to blink, it is not paired with the drive.
  • Make sure the drive is on and the blue light is flashing
    • Once every 1 second means it is not paired
    • Once every 3 seconds means it is paired to something - either the remote or the SwiftPaws app.
  • Make sure all SwiftPaws apps are completely closed on all phones (swipe up) and then turn on the remote. When it pairs, and you move the trigger wheel, it will control the drive. This also begins the 90 second play session timer.
