Plus Drive constantly beeps after turning off

If you are hearing a sequence of decreasing-in-tone beeps over and over after turning of the Home Plus drive - simply unplug the battery. This is a known quirk that affects just a few Plus drives which we are currently investigating. It does not affect performance and does not need to be sent in for repair.

You should ALWAYS be unplugging the battery when you are not actively using the drive, even for short breaks so this does not require any unusual action on your part. See why here: Unplug battery when actively in use!

We can reinstall the firmware - which will stop it from repeating. So if you want to send your drive in for this - just reach out to support@swiftpaws.com and explain you want to send it in to stop the beeping. We can reinstall the firmware at any time, at no additional charge.

If you want to wait to send it in during a period of time that you know would not be using your SwiftPaws (so you won't miss it) you can reach out then for the RMA and instructions to send it in.
