The Pink Band

SwiftPaws home equipment is designed to work with very little tension.  The pink band on the Main Drive Unit wheel serves to grip the line.

The pink band should last for years.

Tension is the main reason the pink band becomes damaged.

  1. Be sure you're including the tethers between the stakes and drive & Pulleys as they are key to maintaining proper tension.
  2. Make sure the line is making as much contact to the drive wheel as possible - this allows for the light tension SwiftPaws requires for optimum performance.

Another reason the pink band may be damaged is from melted line build up on the pulley wheel. Be sure to clean off any debris as it appears to avoid this.
