Device Not Found

If you are getting a "Device Not Found" error in the SwiftPaws app - please check the following:

Make sure the device is powered on.

  • For Chase - the blue light on the bottom of the device should be blinking once per second.
  • For home Original and home Plus - make sure the battery is fully charged and turn on the power switch. You should hear the powerup beep code.

Make sure there is only one SwiftPaws app open. Completely close all Swiftpaws apps on all other phones present (by swiping up) and if there are any Universal Remotes present, be sure they are turned off.

The app must remain within 10-15 feet of the drive to maintain connection.

If you're getting a message to "Turn On Bluetooth to Allow "SwiftPaws" to Connect to Accessories" message - go to settings and turn Bluetooth on. The app will automatically use Bluetooth to control the drive so no further action is required regarding Bluetooth.
