Be sure to use the "pig tale" when plugging in the Chase power adapter - so that if the drive gets bumped or jerked out of place during play, it will disconnect at the appropriate point and prevent damage to the drive's power port.
The "Secure Clip" keeps the cord from being pulled - but if it keeps coming out of the clip, try adding a piece of duct or electrical tape to hold it in place:
It is designed so that the power cord will disconnect at the pigtail instead of being forcefully yanked out of the power port on the device - which would damage the port and circuit board inside the unit - this type of damage would not be covered under warranty.
