How to Pair Chase Remote - videoUpdated 9 days ago

The blue tooth remote will automatically pair to the first, strongest Chase device available. It there are any other Chase devices in the area, be sure they are off or already paired to an app or remote (If they are already paired, they will not be available for your remote to pair with).

Start by freshly plugging in the Chase device*. When you first plug it in, the blue light on the bottom of the device will blink once per second. This indicates that it has power but is NOT paired.

  • TIP: If the blue light is already blinking once every three seconds, it is already paired to an app or remote. Verify that all SwiftPaws apps are completely closed on all phones (the same is true if there are other blue tooth remotes on)

*If the device has been plugged in and sitting idle for 20 minutes or longer, it will go into low power mode. In this case, press the pairing button on the side of the device until the blue light begins to blink.
