Chase Remote batteryUpdated a month ago

When you turn the remote on it will check the battery.

If the battery is good, the remote will vibrate three (3) times and the LED will begin to blink green on power-up.

Note: the battery should last two or more years! So if your remote won't turn on or suddenly stops working - the battery may have been jarred loose. Click here: How to check/reseat the battery in your remote to reseat the battery to avoid damaging the remote and to get everything back into place correctly:

If the battery is getting weak, the LED will blink green but the handle will NOT vibrate upon powering up. It will still run the drive. This is just a notice to be prepared to replace the CR123A (or A123) battery soon. Do not replace the remote battery with a rechargeable battery.

If the battery is bad the LED will stay red on power-up and will not run the drive.

NOTE: If you notice the LED flash red once when you first move the trigger wheel on powering up - this indicates that the remote has not yet paired with the drive. Wait until the remote and drive pair and then move the trigger wheel again. The LED should stop flashing and become steady, and then moving the trigger wheel will operate the drive. This also begins the 90 second play session timer.
